Metal stocks remain a good bet, but practice caution: Arindam Ghosh

In a chat with ET Now, Arindam Ghosh, CEO of BlackRidge Capital, shares his thoughts on metal stocks. Excerpts:

ET Now: What about metals? Is it worth an investment bet right now or would you say that since the stocks have been so beaten down, you are just seeing some covering building in?

Arindam Ghosh: When it comes to metals, there are a lot of global factors which are at play. Bear in mind that we are in an environment where the entire world is grappling with growth in large parts of Europe as well as China. Hence, one needs to be a little cautious as far as this space is concerned. Having said that, there are always opportunities for value picks where there is good management to backup solid companies.
