Markets want investment fix from new government: Jitendra Sriram

In a chat with ET Now, Jitendra Sriram, Director & Head of Research, HSBC Securities, shares his views on the most important issue to be addressed by new govt to revamp the econmy.

ET Now: In terms of a reforms, what is one big aspect do you think Narendra Modi regime will address immediately?

Jitendra Sriram: Investment fix is the one thing that India needs immediately because it is related to all other issues like weak job creation. Also to a large degree, the stuck up project clearance will ensure that the asset quality issues on banks come off. The big thing that the market wants to see is investment spending turn around.
