ET Now: Do you think there is a certain belief that the market could be pressured and could be see perhaps enhanced volatility either way?

Devang Visaria: I think volatility is definitely going to increase because one indicator you have the impact was trading at around 14 or so which is very-very low for because this is also a season month. April being a season month I think volatility should increase and just for example if you were to say a 5200 put for the Nifty you have practically the whole month left and it just trading at 30 bugs so does that mean that the market is saying Nifty wouldn't go to 5170.

I mean that's a very erroneous assumption and in a result season I think one needs to be cautious on the Nifty you could take long position on the Nifty and at the same time buy twice the number of 5300 puts so that way what happens is with the 150 point move in either direction you start making money.

ET Now: First off all is 18,000 going to come today and even if it is, is it a big deal on the charts?

Devang Visaria: I don't think its going to be a big deal and just media hype kind of thing I should say 18000 higher 18000 doesn't make much of a difference. I told you action seems to be getting focused on the midcaps and the small caps that's the space where you start making the real money. I think this month is going to be a madcap month for the market.
