Market is going flat: Ventura Securities Ltd

Market movement is on expected lines ahead of the expiry and ahead of the earning season. Do you think the markets would probably remain a bit subdued?

Add one more to that ahead of expiry and the earning season add to the fact with the March 31 factor next week. Monday happens to be the last trading day in so far as this financial year is concerned. So some amount of consolidation, some amount of profit taking, some amount of readjustment is basically what we are seeing in the market and there is no great take away.

Yesterday’s rise, a day before yesterday’s fall or today’s flat I mean we cannot take anything. Let’s get through this entire thing and then take a call closer to when the April series starts and the new financial year starts. We will take a longer term call at that point in time but at this point I mean it is just flat going nowhere and with no great takeaways from the market in the last three days.
