L&T a good hold from long term perspective: Phani Sekhar

In an chat with ET Now, Phani Sekhar, Fund Manager-PMS, Angel Broking, shared his views on L&T.

What is the view on L&T?

From a very long term perspective, it is a good 'hold'. But if somebody is contemplating a fresh investment at least from a tactical point of view, you can weigh it and see how far it falls because this is not a market that is going up in a hurry today or tomorrow. So you will get ample opportunities especially budget day and going beyond budget, you will have your fair amount of good and bad news flow days.

So if on one of those days if you can get this stock, I am sure you will get this stock at least 7% to 10% cheaper from these levels and that will be a good time that you can start accumulating this stock but with a clear view that you have got to hold it for at least 1.5 to 2 years.
