Long-term investment in power sector will yield results: Sonam Udasi, IDBI Capital

In a chat with ET Now, Sonam Udasi, Head of Research, IDBI Capital, shares his view on the power sector. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is your call on the power sector?

Sonam Udasi: The power space is getting attractive but it has a kind of negativism. Have a two-year view on the sector if you want to invest, as it is likely to disappoint you in the near term, at least on the earning space.

The troubles are not going to go away in the next six months. Unless you are focussed and being fundamental long-term investor in the stock, you will be disappointed in the near term.
