Logistic companies to gain from GST; prefer Aegis Logistics: Deepak Shenoy
As far as Aegis is concerned, given it is primarily into oil and chemical logistics, the business itself should improve, says Shenoy.

ET Now: It seems like goods and services tax ( GST) is going to soon see the light of the day or at least some consensus between both the political parties being reached on the subject. I see you are bullish on Aegis Logistics. What are the reasons behind?
Deepak Shenoy: Aegis is probably one of the end beneficiaries of GST right now. But the implementation of GST is expected to help logistics companies in general. As far as Aegis is concerned, given it is primarily into oil and chemical logistics, the business itself should improve. We saw oil consumption improving substantially in October. We are seeing the benefits of a fall in crude prices, which possibly have started start to work through the consumption matrix in India. That should help companies like Aegis. As a disclosure we have invested in the stock. We like this firm from a long-term perspective.
