Like Tata Motors, see target of Rs 340 in one year: Ajay Bodke, Prabhudas Lilladher

In a chat with ET Now, Ajay Bodke, Head-Investment Strategist & Advisory, Prabhudas Lilladher, shares his views on Tata Motors Ltd.

ET Now: What is your call on Tata Motors?

Ajay Bodke: We like Tata Motors in the auto sector due to the improvement in environment for Tata Motors, namely the United States and China.

We are looking at Tata Motors with price target of Rs 340 on a one year basis. I am slightly worried about the two wheelers because the volume growth continues to be tepid out there and the competitive environment is extremely strong.

Honda continues to gain market share at the cost of both the incumbents. So, I would still advocate Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors as the preferred plays in the auto sector.
