Kirit Parikh recommendations are aggressive: Ventura Securities Ltd

Do you think Kirit Parikh recommendations are a little bit too aggressive and in terms of the stocks IOC, BPCL, HPCL how do you place them?

Not only aggressive I think is political and palatable. I don’t see the government moving in anything beyond like best petrol. I don’t see them touching diesel or cooking gas or even kerosene as a matter of fact.

I think Rs 2.5-Rs 3 petrol is perfectly palatable both from a political point of view and from a consumptive point of view. I think beyond this I don’t see anything great happening. There have been some more aggressive reports in the past also but the government has set on that. I don’t Kirit Parikh Committee will do anything better the next time - raise the petrol prices at best.
