ET Now: What is your call on infrastructure stocks?

Vijay Bhambwani: Infra stocks might appear cheap but in a market like this cheap can become cheaper and cheaper can become the cheapest. So, this entire sector is likely to be a laggard. There will be some intermittent short covering base rallies but it will be a long time before this sector manages to raise its head up.

There are a lot of investors stuck at higher levels who will be heading for the exit door as soon as they hit either break even points or reduce their losses to more palatable levels are tolerable enough. I would suggest staying away from infra stocks.
