Just Dial has been a proxy to e-commerce play: Deepak Shenoy, Capital Mind

In an interview with ET Now, Deepak Shenoy, Founder, Capital Mind, shares his views on Just Dial.

ET Now: What about Just Dial then, finally the search plus app gets launched, do you expect a trading pop on the stock today because that was seemingly the biggest hindrance and the street was selling into the stock in anticipation of when the launch is going to happen and it was rather delayed as well?

Deepak Shenoy: Just Dial, I do not have call on it right now. We believe that the stock has been quite volatile so in respect of where it is right now, it has really been for us a proxy to an e-commerce play though it is not really an e-commerce company. It has been a proxy to an e-commerce play and one of the reasons why it gets substantially higher PE than its perhaps EPS growth would have shown is the fact that it is one of the few listed e-commerce companies in India. As to current launches, I do not know if there is anything substantial in there right now. I will have to research this and get back.
