Jain Irrigation looks an excellent bet at this point: Deven Choksey, KR Choksey Securities

In a chat with ET Now, Deven Choksey, MD, KR Choksey Securities, talks about the PVC pipe industry, Finolex and Jain Irrigation.

ET Now: You track this zone fairly closely — be it Finolex, Jain Irrigations or the PVC pipe companies. What stands out in that space now?

Deven Choksey: I think that business is improving for a lot of companies in this space — companies that are basically catering to the agricultural space of the business.

I personally like Jain Irrigation part of the story more, because the company has lots of potential to unlock some part of the valuation, given the food processing business that they have.

They also have the solar component business. At the same time, their micro irrigation business holds lot of potential. 71 million hectares of land could possibly come under the irrigation process. So, this particular company has very high potential.

Finolex Pipe remains an equally interesting play. The company is in a favourable spot at this point of time. However, my recommendation is more in favour of Jain Irrigation at the moment.
