ET Now: It is 7700 and beyond for the market. Your call on the index as also your stock strategies?

Ashwani Gujral: First it is important to understand the nature of this rally. This is not a private bank/IT rally. This is driven by metal, infrastructure, MNC, auto, pharma and Bank Nifty and CNX IT are not doing all that well. So it is not like your historical rally.

It is very easy to say that Nifty is up 80 points. But it is important to look more closely, because if you are long in IT or Bank Nifty you have not really done all that well.
