Invest in MCX and Financial Technologies if NSEL-induced stress dissipates: Deven Choksey

In a chat with ET Now, Deven Choksey, MD, KR Choksey Securities shares his views on MCX and Financial Technologies. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is your view on MCX as well as Financial Technologies, given the slew of updates and rumours, as well stake sale news that is doing the rounds?

Deven Choksey: Of course, minus the NSEL episode, if you take these two companies, they are good business models. The NSEL episode has certainly dented the image of the companies. Now, if this particular subject is taken care of by a change in the management and by the way of selling some of the assets in generating cash, in such situation, the market would probably feel a little stable in these companies, particularly in FT and I would think that that could be a good way to look at these companies, though I do not have any specific view at this point of time on buying these companies, but I do believe that if the stress gets out of the environment, probably on a standalone basis, they are good business models and can be considered for investment, if clarity emerges for them.
