Illiquid stocks such as Bosch and Eicher Motors to see selling pressure: Tushar Mahajan

In a chat with ET Now, Tushar Mahajan, Nomura, HD-Derivatives - Listed F&O, shares his views on illiquid stocks in the F&O space.

ET Now: A lot of four- and five-digit stocks have started seeing a reverse in the trend. Some of these stocks such as Bosch and Eicher Motors have a presence in the futures and options (F&O) space. What is the scope for some of these four- and five-digit stocks?

Tushar Mahajan: The only challenge these stocks faces is that they are relatively more illiquid in nature.

Even as Bosch and Eicher Motors have seen building up of trading positions over the course of the last month, given the broad correction that we saw in the large auto companies such as Hero MotoCorp and Tata Motors, stocks of these component makers could have a similar fate.

The trend is reversing and whatever limited trading positions is there on these counters, should soon get liquidated.
