What kind of an overall impact do you believe IIP numbers had on the market and is it a cause for concern?

No, certainly I do not think that is too much of a concern. Month over month numbers can definitely disappoint somebody at some point for size of economy which they are operating. At the same time, if you also analyse the sector by sector IIP numbers, you probably would not see a complete disappointment across all.

You may probably find in some of the cases, some lower numbers on month over month basis also because some amount of impact due to monsoon, etc. But beyond that, I do not think it is too much of a problem. If you end up talking to industry and if you understand their business model, you definitely find that going forward in most of the companies case, they have shown better traction for growth in the current year and they are likely to come out with better performance. So I am not typically worried about the month over month numbers, neither do I give too much of significance to this aspect on a monthly basis.
