Your call on Ashok Leyland and you also have a 'sell' call on Maruti?

Deepak Mohoni: Yes, indeed Maruti has been in a fairly persistent decline now for quite a while and the market conditions are also not helpful given that this looks like one of those stocks that even if the market remains sideways could see more downside. There is really no buying coming in very much at lower levels in the stock.

Maruti at 1599-should the stock be sold?

Deepak Mohoni: If one has got Maruti as a long term investment, the simplest thing to do really would be to switch out to one of the stronger auto stocks with limited downside history so that a good candidate is Bajaj Auto.

I think doing a simple switch would work because even if there is a market rally and Maruti improves Bajaj will also improves so one doesn't really lose out on the upside and if the decline continues then Maruti could hurt so given the situation a switch is best as portfolio exposure is unchanged and one has got a slightly better stock under these circumstances.

For the cement space, do you think right now is the right time to enter here considering there are already cost pressures building up regarding the cement prices down south or do you think its more of a regional play right now?

Deepak Mohoni: Cements under pressure there is no doubt about that. They are in fairly persistent downtrends take ACC for example that had a pretty good run up till a couple of months back since then it has been in a decline its drop now from 1000 to 900 over a month and a half or so that's 10% down and its continuing this way so I think cement at the moment is taking a breather a pretty long breather regardless of region.
