IDFC not an attractive bet in the short term: Sudip Bandyopadhyay

In a chat with ET Now, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, President, Destimoney Securities Pvt. Ltd., shares his views on IDFC, Excerpts:

ET Now: What is the call on IDFC?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: It is a very efficiently managed company. There is absolutely no problem with IDFC but at current price levels I will not be a buyer in IDFC.

ET Now: Reason being?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: Well it has run up quite a bit. I am not sure about the banking license and it is coming immediately. Fundamentally, unless something changes drastically, I do not see a major upside in IDFC’s valuation in the short term.
