Idea is a safe play: Deepak Mohoni

Deepak Mohoni, Director, trendwatchindia.com, in a chat with ET Now talks about Idea cellular.

Talking about Idea Cellular, you have a buy call with a target of about 73.50. How long do you expect the rally to continue and what’s the timeframe that you have set for this one?

This target is obviously very close, just a couple of per cent from Friday’s close. So that is for the day trader or somebody holding overnight or thereabouts. But as long as the market is not going into a decline, even if it remains sideways for a week or two, I should think actually the stock will do much better than that. There is a good telecom rally going on except for RComm, they are all doing pretty well and Idea is one of the leading ralliers in this move. So it is reasonably safe to play with Idea.
