I prefer Infosys among largecaps and Mindtree among midcaps: Parag Thakkar

In a chat with ET Now, Parag Thakkar, Head-Institutional Sales, HDFC Securities, says he will stick to IT companies which are showing very good numbers or which have given good guidance

ET Now: What are your thoughts on Hexaware or any other IT stock which would you would want to discuss?
Parag Thakkar: On IT side, our view defers from company to company. Overall IT spending is not picking up globally and that is a issue. So opportunity size is not growing to that extent. Within that, definitely Infosys among the largecaps and Mindtree among the midcaps are our favoured bets because Mindtree is constantly guiding for double digit revenue growth. And apart from that, their digital business is growing significantly. So I would like to prefer Mindtree over Hexaware. We liked Hexaware at lower levels but now that you know the outlook for the entire industry is slightly muted, we would like to be with companies which are showing very good numbers or which have given good guidance.
