Hold onto banking stocks: Gurunath Mudlapur

Gurunath Mudlapur, Director, Atherstone Capital Markets Ltd. in an interview with ET Now talks about banking stocks.

What is the call on Yes Bank?

The banks are gaining out of the growth which is happening in the economy at this stage. They have been able to get a good spread for themselves and they are also getting new businesses so considering that the growth in the business and the spreads are increasing I think the stocks have already got good valuation.

But I think still because we are optimistic on the market and the markets will perform so from that perspective I think that these stocks continue to maintain a hold for these companies.
