Hindustan Unilever strongest in FMCG pack: Technical Trends

For Marico and for Dabur in a 6 months you should be able to a get a 20% return at current prices.

Tata Global Beverages. This one has been a recommendation in the last week or so at a price point of 111 what would you do with this one and will you change your trading strategy on this one or probably maintain a hold?

Sudarshan Sukhani: I did not have this recommendation but generally Tata Global is not a very good stock to buy into simply because it has been falling consistently so if you want to look at FMCG the big story in FMCG is coming with Hind Unilever which is on the verge of finally making its life time highs. It has come out of a 10 year old trading range so you start with Unilever then I go to Marico and Dabur.

What kind of a time frame however would you look at these counters that they can actually give a good return, good upside of closer to 15%-20%, would you have any particular time frame in mind where you recommend these kind of stocks?

Sudarshan Sukhani: Well for Lever I think it will double itself in the next 2-3 years and if that happens I would be very pleased. I think everyone investing would be happy with that. For Marico and for Dabur in a 6 months you should be able to a get a 20% return at current prices.

A quick take on likes of Tiruvarur, Dhampur sugar, Dwarikesh Sugar all of them high in today session obviously there is fundamental news to back in but on the charts?

Sudarshan Sukhani: Well on the charts there has been a very decent run up in the large cap sugar stocks but the ones you mentioned are still playing catch ups so if there is a small dip in the second rung sugar stocks there is a buying opportunity there but I would not buy Balrampur or Bajaj till they correct significantly but the second rung yes it is possible.
