Hindalco's results are good; global factors continue to bother: Sudip Bandyopadhyay

In a chat with ET Now, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, President, Destimoney Securities Pvt. Ltd. shares his views on Hindalco. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is your call on Hindalco?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: The results are pretty good and it is much much better than what the market was expecting. Apart from that today is a good day for the company, there are some clearances it has received for the Maharashtra coal blocks that is extremely positive going forward.
But I am not particularly bullish on the counter, I am not bullish on the sector, so my investors have been advising caution on this entire, the metals and commodities. So I will continue with this stand particularly due to the global factors and the global demand supply position, otherwise Hindalco has done what they could do under the circumstances.
