Hindalco and Tata Steel look good in metal space: Ashwani Gujral

In a chat with ET Now, Ashwani Gujral, Chief Market Strategist, ashwanigujral.com, talks about commoditiy and steel space.

ET Now: We always tend to debate whether it make sense to buy commodities or it really make sense to sell commodity prices when global commodity or base metal prices are coming down. So let us differentiate the commodity space into two ferrous and non-ferrous and then what are your views there?

Ashwani Gujral: I think different stocks are performing differently. If you go with steel Tata Steel seems to be looking fairly strong or non-ferrous may be Hindalco is looking extremely strong but I do not think you can clearly split because SAIL and Steel is not looking so strong. Sterlite and non-steel is not looking as strong so in both groups there are strong and weak stocks so if you have to be in metal may be look at Hindalco and Tata Steel.
