HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra top picks: Rahul Shah, Motilal Oswal FinServ

In an chat with ET now, Rahul Shah, Associate Vice President, Group Leader-Equity Advisory Group, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd, gives his views on the IT pack. Excerpts:

ET Now: With the expiry in mind, are there any stocks that you are advising your clients to buy or sell?

Rahul Shah: On Friday you saw a lot of long positions being built up in IT stocks. So IT still looks convincing from here onwards and if you have the expiry in mind, HCL Tech is one stock in the IT space which looks convincing, which can give you a decent move. You can also look at Tech Mahindra. So these two stocks in the IT space, we believe, should deliver good returns in terms of expiry trade.

ET Now: You would buy HCL Tech with the next couple of days in mind?

Rahul Shah: Yes, definitely.
