Have a buy recommendation on Bayer Crop: Gaurang Shah, Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services
Would like to concentrate on some of the companies which complement the agri sector.

Do you like anything in rice, tea, etc.?
Tea is something that interests us. The problem with rice or any kind of other agro commodity is that government does come and play a spoilsport. So yes, there is significant amount of rainfall which has lead to flood-like situation and because of that you have nations like Pakistan and other rice growing countries going through problem as far as the crop is concerned because all those have got washed away with the excess water which the monsoon season has provided with.
Having said that, I would like to concentrate on some of the companies which complement this agri sector - likes of Bayer Crop Science, Tata Chemicals, United Phosphorus, Jain Irrigation. These are the kinds of stocks that I would possibly look at and as a disclosure, Bayer Crop we have a buy recommendation and also hold this particular stock in the PMS that we have.
The others, Tata Chemicals as a disclosure, we had a buy coverage. The stock slipped below 400 mark on fallback of bad numbers - a perfect opportunity to get in if again Tata Chemicals have to slip below those levels. On stocks like Rei Agro, Lakshmi Foods and KRBL, one can only trade it from a short-term point of view, that’s what my feeling is.
