GST isn't a disappointment for market: Gaurav Mehta, Ambit Capital
If the Goods and Services Tax (GST) bill fails to pass during the current session of Parliament, the market will not be affected by it. In an interview to ET Now, Gaurav Mehta, VP-Institutional Equties, Ambit Capital, expects the GST bill should see some progress soon.

ET Now: Is the market disappointed that the GST is still stuck?

Gaurav Mehta: I do not think that the markets at the moment have really sort of factored the passing of the GST bill. Even if it does not get passed in the current session, I do not think it will be a big disappointment.

Our sense on GST is that it is only a matter of time now and then you should see some progress on it.
