Good opportunity to enter into LIC Housing Finance: Anish Damania, Emkay Global Financial Services Ltd

What is your call on the raids that are being made on LIC Housing Finance? There are some more names being thrown up like Bank of India. Both these stocks are also seeing some selling pressure?

I do not know what will be the cause and the effect but clearly the fact that this news is out in the market always dampens the spirit. We actually like LIC Housing Finance quite a lot given the kind of business model which it has and the kind of things which we have done over the last 4 years.

So this correction actually should be used as an opportunity to enter into the stock because if the business model is right, if the business is doing the way it is and if things are good on the long term secular basis, then these could be the opportunities which one can have to enter into the stock.
