Going short in Ipca Labs would be risky: Deepak Mohoni

Ipca Labs has certainly run up but going short in a stock that is running up especially in a market which is not particularly strong, that could be a little dangerous.

In a chat with ET Now, Deepak Mohoni, Director, trendwatchindia.com, talks about Ipca Labs.

ET Now: What is the call on Ipca Labs?

Deepak Mohoni: Ipca Labs has certainly run up but going short in a stock that is running up especially in a market which is not particularly strong, that could be a little dangerous. There are better candidates to short sell stocks in established downtrends. Also we are having some pretty good moves in pharma every now and then and Ipca is actually pretty close to its all time high. So going short here may be a little risky. You cannot go really short overnight but to sell off positions in this stock would be risky.
