GIC Housing to benefit only if the market keeps going up: Deepak Mohoni

In a chat with ET now, Deepak Mohoni, Director, trendwatchindia.com, talks about GIC Housing. Excerpts:

How much more upside do you think in GIC Housing?

It's obviously going to benefit only if the market continues going up, but what is good about this stock is that in the last one year or so it has had very small draw down. It does not fall very much during declines. It has now even gone past its 2008 high. So it's enjoying a pretty good bull market at the moment; so as long as the market keeps going up, this can be expected to outperform perhaps by 50%-60%.
