GAIL may have a short term momentum on disinvestment hopes: Avinnash Gorakssakar

ET Now: What is your call on GAIL?

Avinnash Gorakssakar: From the larger cap space, if you see the kind of business opportunity for GAIL, there is immense opportunity going forward. Although, the margins in the previous quarter were little under pressure. But considering the fact that we have been hearing noises now from the FM that some divestment could happen in most of the good navratnas and especially in GAIL. There could be a chance where the stock could possibly see a short term momentum also. But longer term, in the gas piping business GAIL definitely qualifies as a good portfolio pick.
