Flip flopping in rate sensitives is going on quite a lot: Deepak Mohoni, Director, trendwatchindia.com

This flip flopping is going on quite a lot now, last week or two, you see a good move one day in a stock, next day it reverses.

Deepak Mohoni, Director, trendwatchindia.com, in a chat with ET Now, speaks about rate sensitive stocks.

What is the call on rate sensitives?

There was a short lived rally in real estate, DLF and HDIL had couple of very good weeks but since then, they have also lost their legs a little bit and a stock like Indiabulls Real Estate has been weak all along, it did not really pick up. So all in all, there was an attempted move in real estate but it did not really take off. Maybe DLF and HDIL could make a comeback, those are the two to look for. If they lead the rest of the pack, you could maybe see something there. Right now, most of them are in a bit of a decline.

Banks have been very mixed. On the whole, they are heading down most of them, one or two made good moves by Bank of Baroda but they are tending to give back those moves immediately. This flip flopping is going on quite a lot now, last week or two, you see a good move one day in a stock, next day it reverses. So we are in a bit of that squash court sort of effect.
