Financial stocks look attractive in the long term: IV Subramanium, Quantum Advisors

Your current sectoral allocation is financials but at a time when inflation is threatening to go up again, are you likely to revisit your top position?

No, not from the point of whether we would like to trim, we think that although inflation is a concern and the near-term margins could be an issue, most of the financials had corrected significantly over the past few months. If you look at our long-term assumption, some of these stocks look pretty attractive to us, so we recognise that the headwinds could be strong for a few more months but that’s okay but from a valuation standpoint, it makes a great sense to invest in that sector, so therefore, we will continue to hold that.
