Fertiliser space has been played out because markets are down: Sanjeev Patni

Sanjeev Patni, President and Head-Institutional Equities, Prabhudas Lilladher in a chat with ET Now gives his outlook on the fertiliser space.

Any particular interest that we are spotting in the fertiliser space if you do track it then do you have any particular favourites from here?

The sector overall has actually benefited from the deregulation that was earlier announced and it’s I think more of a non-cyclical kind of sector.

I think that’s has been played out today primarily because the markets are down and in this sector the dynamics are going to be better going forward. Apart from that I don’t really see any other reason for the sector to perform well.
