Expect Nifty to move closer to 9,000 level once the good news comes in: Ashwani Gujral

In a chat with ET Now, Ashwani Gujral, Fund Manager, Ashwanigujral.com, talks about the trajectory of the market.
ET Now: What is your own sense of how things will pan out in the coming week?

Ashwani Gujral: I am very pleased with the structure of the market i.e. defined by how a market accepts bad news. Till yesterday parliament did not do anything, yuan depreciated, and there was gloom and doom. Market today turns around and gives you a 500-600 point on the Sensex, that just means that this is a very strong market and all sorts of bad news is getting bought. Therefore, the structure of the market is fairly intact and all the leading groups and leading stocks should be bought on all declines regardless of most of the pieces of bad news. Greece and China have happened and the market has still held on to 8400; that is extremely positive. When the good news starts coming, I would not be surprised if the market can take 8650 out and move closer to 9000.
