Expect battery makers to perform well going forward: Deepak Shenoy
Battery markers have already had a fairly good run. From that perspective, the business revenue side looks strong.

ET Now: Exide, could there be a possibility that what lead prices fall could do to Exide is something that is similar to what a rubber price fall did to tyre companies?
Deepak Shenoy: Rubber companies were less valued before the rubber prices fell compared to battery makers.
Battery markers have already had a fairly good run. If you look at it from a macro perspective, there is definitely going to be more demand for batteries whether it comes from inverters or whether it comes from car battery replacements.
So from that perspective, the business revenue side looks strong. If the input side gets any weaker, then the margins will increase.
