Entertainment space remains a good opportunity for investment in 2015: Deven Choksey

In a chat with ET Now, Deven Choksey, MD, KR Choksey Securities, shares his views on the midcap companies. Edited Excerpts:

ET Now: Give me a sector which is midcapish in nature? It could be irrigation, defence or something else. But something that could really surprise people on the upside for the risk taker? Something that we can bet on even if it were to disappoint a bit? Tell us about that big alpha or the big delta idea for 2015?

Deven Choksey: I am not getting a sector per se in this particular space. Somewhere in the area of entertainment, media space,or agri space, you might find some of the companies which probably we are looking at. Insurance of course is a big theme. It could be a bigger theme going forward as well. If a company is getting listed with the relatively small market capitalisation, then probably one would look at this particular space relatively more favourably then otherwise. I would not be able to name the company but these are the areas where I am looking at where I could probably find some of the good opportunities for investment in 2015.
