Eicher Motors and Maruti Suzuki remain top picks in auto space: Prateek Agarwal, ASK Investment Manager

In a chat with ET Now, Prateek Agarwal, ASK Investment Manager, shares his views on valuations.

ET Now: What about autos because we have seen quite a mixed bag of reportage from the entire auto pack when it came to the monthly sales data, do you stick by with the likes of Maruti or do you take a bet on Tata Motors given that it has fallen so much?

Prateek Agarwal: So, it depends on what you are offering your investors. Our positioning is to have businesses with very high degree of revenue and profit visibility. Overall, there is very low volatility in what we do. So, typically, we would want the business to stabilise rather than try and catch a falling knife. So if you look at what we are trying to offer then two names in the auto space qualify one is an Eicher the other is a Maruti, great combination of strong growth and strong pricing power.
