Don't go long on banking: Ashwani Gujral, Market Strategist

Talking about the mid tier banks, is there anything that you like out there that you would still play for in the last week?

It is very tough because banking has flattered to deceive. May be one can look at an LIC Housing because it has been beaten up quite a bit that can be looked at. But in all market rallies, banking is underperforming. So may be it is not a good time to get long on banking. On the long side, you stay with commodities and techs and banking would probably remain more short side play.
