Do not see Nifty going below 8100 as of now: Ashwani Gujral

ET Now: After this percent-and-a-half move today and it has been an extremely choppy and volatility week if you look at each and every day and how they have done. What do you think is in-store on Friday considering that we also kick start the earning season? How do you think the near terms look like?

Ashwani Gujral: If you draw trend line from that 8,625 top and through say about 8,450 odd, the recent top, it comes to about 8,400. Unless we get past 8,400 this could just be a sideways type of zone. There are several stocks which are showing good action. Often it happens before the budget that the broader market picks up and all kind of humours start flying. More than the Nifty or the Bank Nifty, boarder market looks good. Even the Nifty and the Bank Nifty could have a few good days on the upside. As of now 8,100 does not seem to be under immediate threat.
