Do little bit of bottom fishing in agri stocks: Rajesh Kothari, AlfAccurate Advisors

Rajesh Kothari, Managing Director, AlfAccurate Advisors in an interview with ET Now talks about agri-stocks.

What is your call on agri-stocks?

These stocks can be significantly different from the names you have mentioned. We like more of the companies which have very strong balance sheets with a very strong brands, with a very strong rural distribution reach, so we probably like more of a fertilizer rather than the rice trading companies or something like that.

On fertilizer space also the government is going ahead in terms of the reforms, however, I think the first quarter can be little bit muted compared to the average market growth in terms of earnings and therefore one can look at the stocks probably after first quarter where one can do little bit bottom fishing on the sector.
