Dewan Housing, Escorts could be great investment ideas: Neeraj Deewan, Quantum Securities

In a chat with ET Now, Neeraj Deewan, Director, Quantum Securities, talks about DHFL and Escorts.

ET Now: What are your top ideas from the broader market space, be it a trading idea or be it an investment idea?

Neeraj Deewan: Dewan Housing is one stock which I like. The entire housing finance space is doing well, and this one is the fastest-growing among the lot in the last two-three years. This is available at just one-time book value on expected FY16 book value. Dewan Housing even at current levels can do quite well. So, that would be one pick.

The second one is Escorts. You saw the figures coming, people were afraid about tractor sales. We just saw a 1.75% drop in year-on-year sales for Escorts.

Besides the railway part of the business, the construction equipment part too is really not contributing till now. It can really make contributions going ahead. So, with all these three doing well, Escorts can be another great bet in the midcap space.
