What is the call on Deccan Chronicle?

Deccan Chronicle has gained a lot of prominence in the last three-four months because of the strong move it made and also the volumes now in this stock are perhaps on an average seven-eight times higher than they used to be before February.

There is a lot of interest in this stock clearly and now it is going up again, 5.5% up today. The only thing to bear in mind having a Deccan Chronicle is that it corrects sharply its downside volatility. We could break up volatility by two ways. Upside volatility is good if you are buying a stock but downside volatility is a risk which you carry when you have bought a stock.

The downside volatility on this stock is extremely high or it has become that way now. So anybody buying it has to keep that stop loss in place. That is the thing to keep in mind for Deccan Chronicle.
