Dealing Room: Asian Paints, TTK Prestige, Glenmark, TVS

MUMBAI: ET Now spoke to dealers on institutional and high net worth investors’ activity in the dealing room. The following stocks were on their radar on unconfirmed reports.

Asian Paints:

Dealers are buying the stock at lower levels. They expect it to touch Rs 4,000 levels in one month.

The stock was at Rs 3,686, down 0.73 percent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 3,706.30 and a low of Rs 3,657.85 in trade so far.

TTK Prestige:

The Q1 results in line with estimates. Analysts expect margins to recover going forward. Institutional desks are recommending client to buy at lower levels.

The stock was at Rs 3,292, down 0.82 percent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 3,410 and a low of Rs 3,242 in trade so far.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals:

Credit Suisse maintained ‘outperform’ on Glenmark Pharma. It raised target price to Rs 430 from Rs 375 on improving balance sheet, US markets. There was no negative surprise from FY12 annual report, the brokerage said.

The stock was at Rs 379.80, up 0.74 percent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 383.05 and a low of Rs 377 in trade so far.

TVS:

There is buzz that the company is seeking technology pact with BMW for high end motorbikes

The stock was at Rs 38.85, up 6.15 percent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 39.45 and a low of Rs 36.50 in trade so far.

Cairn India:

Selective accumulation is seen in the counter by domestic funds.

The stock was at Rs 311.40, down 1.22 percent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 316.25 and a low of Rs 311.35 in trade so far.
