Deal with Adidas will benefit Lovable: Phani Shekhar, Angel Broking

In a chat with ET Now, Phani Shekhar, Fund Manager-PMS, Angel Broking, shares his views on Lovable Lingerie.

ET Now: Do you track Lovable Lingerie and what is the impact on the stock?

Phani Shekhar: Well I do track this but where I am not very clear is when the word marketing is used, is it exclusive marketing or is it marketing complementary to what Adidas India is doing because it is very easy then. If it is exclusive marketing, then it is a deal almost like what Page did with Jockey but if it is marketing complementary to what Adidas India is also doing for its own products, then the upsides will only be limited to better utilisation of manufacturing capacities of Lovable Lingerie.

So since I do not have clarity on that issue, I would like to reserve my comments. But in general, this deal even if it means that the manufacturing capacities will be better utilised, is still incrementally positive for Lovable.
