Corrections should be used to buy in sugar: Ashwani Gujral, Market Strategist

Ashwani Gujral, Chief Market Strategist, ashwanigujral.com, in a chat with ET Now talks about the sugar stocks.

Sugar is rather volatile because sugar stocks are high beta in nature, so they tend to move up fast but net-net it is a volatile pack. What is your view?

All stocks correct. If you do not want to face correction, you should not be in the market. But till agro commodities are doing well, sugar prices are holding up firm, the best of the rally is behind it, let’s be clear. If sugar prices start collapsing, the stocks will collapse probably much before that.

So this should be kept in mind that they are now trading plays but corrections - like today - should be used to buy. If you have a trading view and for the next 10-15%, on a down day this is the time to buy.
