Continue to remain bullish on IT sector: Kimeng Securities

In a chat with ET Now, Jigar Shah, Senior VP and Head of Research, Kimeng Securities, shares his views on IT sector.

ET Now: At a time when markets clearly are not rotating, only three sectors are holding on, FMCG, pharma and large cap IT, where are you picking your spots?

Jigar Shah: We have been bullish about the IT sector for the past couple of quarters and we continue to remain positive. Now, it is turn for the midcap IT to do well. Some of the midcap IT companies such as Persistent, Infotech Enterprise, CMC, Hexaware and few others have good value. There is a strong upside over there. So we remain bullish on that segment and we also remain bullish on some of the FMCG names like United Spirits and Tata Global Beverages. So those are the kind of picks that we have.
