Continue to go along on Cairn India: Prakash Diwan

Prakash Diwan, Head-Institutional Clients Group, Asit C. Mehta Investment Intermediates Ltd., in a chat with ET Now, gives his views on Cairn India.

Any short-term strategies that you would want to recommend?

Given the kind of momentum we have seen, we would continue to probably go along on Cairn India. We expect a hefty dividend payout in sync with the parent company’s guidance that we have heard out yesterday. So, maybe we are expecting about Rs 15-16 of a dividend, which would be very good on the dividend yield front also.

Possibly a JP Power looks pretty promising from hereon in terms of some of the developments that they are likely to come through with. So, these are the two positions that I would recommend.
