Commercial real estate space would probably find takers: Deven Choksey

ET Now: What is the excitement with real estate this afternoon?

Deven Choksey: Not too sure about that particular aspect but generally believe that commercial real estate space would probably find takers. With the amount of retail business and participation from global players coming into the Indian economy, real estate could probably find good offtake. But I do not see any major news coming into that.

Of course, NBCC has been talking about various projects delivery but they have more on the residential side and to a greater extent, I would believe that one could possibly look at that space more favourably vis-à-vis the commercial aspect.

We believe that in the residential space, there should be some good opportunities with companies like Godrej Properties or Oberoi Realty, where they have the asset light modelling in place.
