Cautious on the entire IT space: Fayeza Hafizee

ET Now spoke to Fayeza Hafizee, Vice President, Institutional Sales, Intime Spectrum Securities Ltd, on her stock picks.

ET Now: What is your call on TCS and the entire IT space now?

Fayeza Hafizee: We are not looking at the IT sector in a very positive light for now. We would like to see another quarter go by because the sector has been facing a lot of currency fluctuations, Europe issues etc.

We would like all of these to settle in before we take any kind of a call. Turning positive on the sector would only depend on how they perform in the second quarter of this year. TCS, a similar call. We continue to believe that it is in a good trading range and you would probably see a small upside from here but we are not looking at that in a big way right now.
